It's VITAL that when examining my sound-files that you DO NOT alter or cut off the silence at the beginning of my sound-waves! I have PURPOSELY timed them that way because of reaction-time IN-GAME so that the sound of the weapon-firing does NOT overlap and subdue the sounds of the player themselves and their pain/death reactions. For this reason, I have PURPOSELY made an average of 0.25 seconds of silence at the beginning of such files, ...and also with the Announcer so he isn't saying "Airshot" when the gun-sound is STILL going off - SO LEAVE THEM THAT WAY!! ~Michael "Tenshihan" Quinn Tuesday, January 6th, 2009, 7:30pm.
